Katerina is a research associate in Human Computer Interaction at the “Athena” Research and Innovation Center in Information, Communication and Knowledge Technologies and the National Kapodistrian University of Athens, since 2009, working in projects that investigate technologies in Culture, Art and Education (e.g., WhoLoDance, Aria, Bridges, Transitionto8). She holds a PhD in the study of "dance as language" from the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications at the University of Athens (UoA), a MSc. in Advanced Information Systems from the same department, a BSc. in Chemical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, a diploma in classical and contemporary dance.
