Charalampos Rizopoulos is an assistant professor at the Department of Digital Arts and Cinema of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, where he teaches courses related to interaction design, game development, and 3D modelling. His research interests lie in the broader interdisciplinary field of human-computer interaction, user experience, virtual and augmented reality, and immersive media. He has participated in various domestic and international research projects related to the aforementioned fields. He has also participated in the design and implementation of interactive artworks. He holds a PhD on User Experience design for immersive virtual environments from the Department of Communication and Media Studies of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
