Dr. E. Cosmidis consults in business processes, procurement, technology and media informatics. He is professionally active for over 40 years.

From 2005 to 2009 held several executive management positions within OPAP SA and its subsidiaries. Previously served in senior level positions in Singular Software, Delta Informatics, Olympic Airways, Lambrakis Press, Heracles General Cement. He has also consulted National Petroleum, Public Power, Viochrom, Technical Press, CANA, Sportsman and other industrial and service corporations. Areas of expertise included technology, multimedia, engineering, engineering economics etc. He served in various EU research groups and taught Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the State University of NY at Buffalo.

He was active in the World Lottery Association Security and Risk Management Committee and the European Lotteries Risk and Public Order Committee. Participated actively in authoring the only international standard for security and integrity for lotteries and gaming and participated in the review of the corresponding ISO IWA.

Dr Cosmidis was member of the Management Committee of the Hellenic Institute of Informatics of the Hellenic Management Association for many years and chaired the organization committee of e-Business Forum for 14 years.

He was born in Athens, Greece. Holds BSEE&CS from Union College (NY), MSEE&CS from Univ. California at Berkley and PhD from State University of NY at Buffalo.
