Emmanouil Giannisakis is a Principal Experience Designer at EPAM. Before that Emmanouil has completed his Ph.D. at Télécom Paris under the supervision of Gilles Bailly and has worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the university of British Columbia under the supervision Joanna McGrenere. His broad research area is Human Computer Interaction (HCI), with a specialization on software learnability, interface personalization and transition to expert modalities. To that end he has proposed and design interaction techniques following a user center approach that aim to help users identify software features relevant to their tasks. In addition he worked on characterizing and modelling the user behavior while using a piece of software.
