Panayiotis Koutsabasis is Associate Professor of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) at the Department of Product & Systems Design Engineering, University of the Aegean, Greece. His research interests include HCI and design methods, evaluation of the user experience, natural user interfaces (especially mid-air interaction and mixed-reality), mobile HCI, teaching approaches to HCI, and digital heritage. He has been teaching HCI and related subjects in academia for approximately 20 years. He has participated in 30 European and national R&D projects and networks of excellence. He has co-authored more than 90 papers in scientific journals, conferences, book chapters, and 2 books on HCI (in Greek). He has participated in the scientific committee of several conferences about HCI and the editorial board of five journals about HCI and digital heritage. He is a member of ACM, ACM SIGCHI, EUSSET.Â
