SOCIAL EVENTS
During the week of the conference, participants will have the opportunity to explore local landmarks and engage in activities that highlight the island’s history and heritage, as well as attend concurrent local events.
The Apollon Theater, a symbol of Hermoupolis deeply tied to the city’s history, will host a cocktail party this year as part of the parallel events for both Animasyros and CHIGreece.
Throughout the conference, visitors can explore Animasyros VR Lounge, a dedicated exhibition space at the International Animation Festival 2025, featuring painting and animation tools, immersive hands-on activities, and captivating film productions.
“Kyveli Mansion” and the main “Exhibition Space” are two buildings in Hermoupolis, Syros hosting the Institute’s “Research, Documentation and Residence Centre”. After the conference, a book presentation will be held there for the conference participants.
