Diakoumakos Jason is currently a PhD student at the University of Peloponnese in the Department of Informatics \& Telecommunication, with MSc in Computer Science and Technology and a bachelor’s degree in the Department of Informatics \& Telecommunication of the NKUA, Athens. He is a fellow researcher in multiple European projects and various applications within the domain of cultural heritage, exploring innovative ways to bring historical narratives to life through immersive experiences. Currently he is working on the Hellenic Telecommunications Organization in the R\&D department.
As a dedicated PhD student at the University of Peloponeese, our research explores the transformative potential of augmented reality, virtual reality, and mixed reality technologies in education. Working within the dynamic team of the HCI-VR lab, we aim to push the boundaries of human-computer interaction and create immersive learning environments. Our focus on gamification and extended reality reflects our commitment to making meaningful contributions to the field and shaping the future of education.
