The Greek National Registry of Procedures – MITOS – is a groundbreaking digital initiative that documents and standardizes public services, acting as a single source of truth for citizens, businesses, and public sector organizations. This talk explores how MITOS leverages technical, semantic, and organizational interoperability to enable open data access, API-based integration, and reuse across systems. Through a controlled crowdsourcing approach and structured delivery, it supports feedback loops, simplifies processes, and offers real-time supervision via analytics. MITOS transforms the interaction between the state and the public by making administrative procedures transparent, searchable, and actionable in a standardized digital format.
